When I moved to Berlin in 2022, I wanted to push the work further before closing this chapter. I spent a full year photographing inside the legendary Kit Kat Club — a place where sexuality is not hidden, not performed for Instagram, but lived.

That period became the final layer of this book:
an honest, raw, and cinematic record of queer nightlife and uninhibited expression.

Influences

I’m influenced by Pasolini, Lynch, and Caravaggio — cinema, darkness, theatrical light, the sacred intertwined with the obscene. I’m not interested in polite eroticism; I’m interested in what happens when you stop posing and let yourself be seen.

Why I Made This Book

Since graduating from the Amsterdam Photo Academy in 2014,
my work has always circled the same question:

How far can intimacy go before it becomes confrontation?

My Perverted Legacy is my answer — a visual record of sexual freedom, fetish, taboo,
and bodies that refuse silence.
It’s also deeply personal. These are not distant observations.
I was there.

This book is for those who are not afraid to look. “This is not a book about sex. It’s about
what happens after.”
