Suspended in Black (diptych) (2020)

“Suspended in Black” reflects on fragility, isolation, and the desperate need for breath. The figure, sealed in latex and connected to a breathing line, becomes both protected and confined — an image haunted by the collective memory of the pandemic, when oxygen became a measure of existence. Between fear and surrender, the work contemplates life as a negotiation with air itself.
