Fields of Joy (2021)
In “Fields of Joy,” a tangle of bodies lies intertwined on a clearing that hums with both tenderness and mortality. The composition evokes pastoral serenity — yet the ground itself holds memory, being part of a scattering field for human ashes. Between life and loss, flesh and soil, the image becomes a meditation on desire, decay, and the quiet persistence of touch. The title, at once luminous and ironic, leaves the viewer suspended between comfort and unease.
